Only a short 25 minute drive north of Cairns and the international airport and a 40 minute drive south of Port Douglas, Palm Cove is centrally located to all of the areas attractions and natural wonders.
Excursions to the Great Barrier Reef depart daily from Palm Cove jetty and we are a perfect jumping off point for the Daintree Rainforest, Atherton Tablelands, Skyrail and Kuranda as well as the other numerous destinations and activities we have on offer.
A world class golfing experience is available five minutes away at Paradise Palms Golf Course, recently rated the number 10 public course in Australia, and we also have the Palm Cove Golf and Country Club just a short 10 minute walk from the resort.
To get to Melaleuca Resort by car from Cairns or the airport drive north twenty minutes and take the first right turn after The Cairns Tropical Zoo, on to Veivers Road, follow the road to the beach and turn left onto Williams Esplanade, we are about 500 metres along the esplanade on the left hand side. Just keep a look out for our colourful tropical gardens.
A car is not really necessary in Palm Cove as you can walk everywhere, so the easiest way to get here is with the airport shuttle services that are available and can be pre booked through the resort. All of the day tours will pick you up and drop you off here at the resort, most including this service as part of the price.
