Travel Directions

Only a short 25 minute drive north of Cairns and the international airport. Palm Cove is centrally located to all of the areas attractions and natural wonders –  Port Douglas, Daintree Rainforest and the Atherton Tablelands.

Excursions to the Great Barrier Reef depart daily from Cairns or Port Douglas. We are a perfect jumping off point for the Daintree Rainforest, Atherton Tablelands, Skyrail and Kuranda as well as the other numerous destinations and activities we have on offer.

To get to Melaleuca Resort by car from Cairns or the airport, drive north twenty minutes and turn right on to Veivers Road. Follow the road to the beach and onto Williams Esplanade. Melaleuca Resort is about 500 metres along Williams esplanade, just keep a look out for the colourful tropical gardens.

A car is not really necessary in Palm Cove as you can walk everywhere, so the easiest way to get here is with the airport shuttle services that are available and can be pre booked through the resort. Most day tours will pick you up and drop you off here at the resort.
